Steps for using Mobile Deposit Capture

1. First, be sure you are enrolled in Mobile Banking and have downloaded our app.
2. Log into your Western Bank mobile app and select Deposit. 
3. Read the instructions that is presented, and then tap Continue.
4. Read our Notice about Mobile Deposits, and then tap Continue.
5. Tap Front to take a picture of the front of the check. Line-up the check image with the frame and take the picture so that the amount is clear.
6. To Accept the image, tap the green check mark. To retake the image, tap the red undo button.
7. Tap Back to take a picture of the back of the check.
• Be sure it is endorsed with a signature, “mobile deposit only,” date, and last four of the account number.
8. Select the Deposit To account from the list of available accounts then input the Amount of the check.
9. Input an email address in the Email Receipt To field and tap Continue.
10. Review the information on the Approve Deposit Screen. If all information is correct, tap Approve. If changes need to be made, tap above the Approve Deposit Screen and edit.

Tips for using Mobile Check Deposit

• Make sure you are taking a picture of the check in a well-lit area. Use a dark background to get the best image of the check.
• Verify that the check amount and written amount match.
• Make sure the entire check image is captured and in focus.
• Available for Apple and Android products.
